I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Starbucks in Apr 2012
Interview
The interview process with this company was nice. It was more of a conversation discussing what quality customer service means to both myself and the interview. The interview process consisted of a single 1:1 interview, and it seems that if Starbucks deems you capable, you will get a call back within a week. It happened very fast.
The process was simple and easy. They asked basic interview questions and it didn't take more than 20 minutes. After the first interview, there was a second interview with similar, if not the same, questions.
Average interview asked availability and some other basic questions like tell me about yourself and what are your weaknesses but they just keep postings up even when they are not hiring
It is a pretty straight forward process. The Interview will most likely be 15 mins max. They will most likely ask you situational interview questions and your long term goals.
