      Administrative Assistant Interview

      Jun 20, 2013
      Anonymous employee
      Seattle, WA
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Starbucks (Seattle, WA) in Jun 2013

      Interview

The first step was a half hour phone screen, followed by an on site interview with one of the executive assistants from the department, also followed by an interview with the person I'd be directly assisting. They called and offered me the job the following day. The highlight was that they gave me a goodie bag just for coming in to interview. It was a very thoughtful gesture that indicated that they value their employees and prospective employees.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

They were all very standard. They asked me about how I would go about handling certain challenges or how I'd handled them in the past.

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Starbucks in Jan 2025

      Interview

Interview process was fairly pleasant. The first round was with the recruiter, second round was with two employees. The third round was a little bit more difficult because it was with the two people the role supported. I can tell in the third interview that they didn’t like me and the feedback I received afterwards and basically told me to apply for a barista as though I was not qualified for the position.
