I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Starbucks (Covington, WA) in Jun 2024
Interview
They ask you a few questions but almost all of them are about the company values. But mentioning that you’re very focused on customers and connections is very important. The company values can be found online as well so as long as you study up on those you should be good! :)
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What is experience you have had as a customer (anywhere not just starbucks) that stood out to you? Why did it stand out?
Basically a short chat about my availability, my interest in the job, why I want to work there, how familiar I am with coffee and what my past experiences in hospitality were.
Easiest interview I've ever had. I was only asked 3 questions, 'tell me about yourself, what are your strengths & weaknesses, what is your availability?' Lasted about 10 minutes maximum
Thank you for taking the time to write your feedback. We appreciate your input and are happy to hear that you’ve enjoyed the interview process here at Starbucks.
it was great. I answered every question thoughtfully and easily. You have to have two interviews, one with the manager and one with the district manager. It is a in person interview. They ask many questions and will either hire you on the spot or you will have to call to see if you get the position.
