I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Starbucks (Melksham, England) in Jul 2025
Interview
they replied me few weeks after i applied in indeed and the manager didn't tell me what specific time for the interview, and i couldn't reach out to her. So i just popped in and one of the supervisor interviewed me, she was quite nice and we arranged trial shift next week. It was going well in my trial shift and the manager told me that she would message me next day to let me in and gave me uniform. But no one messaged me after a week passed, so I popped in again to ask if there's any updates and got the answer from another supervisor that they will offer me 24hrs/week contract and someone will contact me soon. But another 3 weeks passed, no one message me.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Why you choose starbucks
Why you think you fit the role
Introduce yourself
What contract are you looking for
Basically a short chat about my availability, my interest in the job, why I want to work there, how familiar I am with coffee and what my past experiences in hospitality were.
Easiest interview I've ever had. I was only asked 3 questions, 'tell me about yourself, what are your strengths & weaknesses, what is your availability?' Lasted about 10 minutes maximum
it was great. I answered every question thoughtfully and easily. You have to have two interviews, one with the manager and one with the district manager. It is a in person interview. They ask many questions and will either hire you on the spot or you will have to call to see if you get the position.
