*12/24 (Tues) received phone call , from someone with State Farm a 309 area code number (make sure you watch out for those). The call was about a contingent job offer pending
background, drug screen & employment history check.
* 12/24 a few minutes later I received an email from HireRight the company that does the drug, background screen & employment history check, to fill out a form that that will ask you for your previous work & education history with dates and previous job phone numbers & school phone numbers, that they will call to verify. Or you can also submit documents as well along with the form. Also to pick the place where you want to do your drug test ( Urine ).
*12 / 30 ( Mon ) checked the hireRight site to check the status on my screenings stating, they conformed my info and that they sent the background report to State Farm.
* 12/31 ( Tues ), I received a call from State Farm ( 309 area code), stating they received my background info from HireRight and that my job offer is finalized, which I accepted and I start in 2 months.
Everything was done by email, and video interview, no phone interview, and during the video interview you only get 2 chances to answer the question, if you dont like your first answer. The individual questions are timed, but there is no time limit on how long you can take to finish the interview, I did it in like 50 minutes, because of too much noise due to construction outside my house. So, I had to wait when it would be quiet for a while.
