I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at State Farm (Atlanta, GA) in Mar 2023
Interview
I received an email to complete the recorded video interview 2 business days after applying. I am a former employee, so I'm unsure if I bypassed the usual testing phase. The video interview was 6 questions, all Tell me about a time questions that they want you to answer using the STAR method. The first question was just a simple select yes or no question where they want you to advise whether you can perform the job duties and are still interested after watching a short video about SF, the job, and the culture. I received the video interview invite on 3/22/23 and completed it on 3/24/23. On 3/27/23, I received an email to schedule the phone interview to discuss the next steps, salary expectations, start date, etc. So basically, I got the job, and I'm just waiting for the scheduled phone call to receive the official offer.

The first question was just a simple select yes or no question where they want you to advise whether you can perform the job duties and are still interested after watching a short video about SF, the job, and the culture. Other Questions that I remember: Tell me about yourself and your background and why you want to work for a state farm? Why did you apply, and what makes you a good fit for this job? Tell Me About A Time When You Had to Deal With a Difficult/Angry Customer/Task? How did you handle it and what did you learn? OR Tell Me About A Time When You Couldn't Fulfill the Request of a Customer?/Had To Handle A Demanding Customer? (What Did You Learn?) I can't remember the exact variation that was asked, but it is more or less the same question. Just have two different scenarios ready and you'll be fine. Tell Me About A Time When You Couldn’t Meet A DEADLINE/WERE OVERWHELMED. How Did You Deal With It? (Or some kind of variation of this. I believe the exact wording was more around a time you weren't as dependable or reliable in completing a task or meeting a deadline as you usually are, but it is more or less the same.) Tell Me About A Time When RECEIVED CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM FROM A MANGER/SUPERVISOR. How did you handle it and what did you learn? How did you use the critiques to better yourself?
Pretty straight forward hiring process. Its a great experience. Made me re learn skills and learn a few along the way. Its a rewarding HireVue interview experience. Not too many in between person to dealt with. HR is impressive and communicative with you. They really care

Interview
Completed video interview and about a month later had a phone call and discuss background, job expectations and asked generic questions such as "can you work in a quiet area". Once done sent a rejection email about 5 mins later. Not sure what they was looking for.
Online assessment and video interview-not hard, but can be intimidating if you don’t have a lot of experience with technology. Pretty straightforward though and easy to get through. They keep you informed throughout the process
