      AIS Fund Administrator Interview

      Jan 26, 2011
      Anonymous employee
      Boston, MA
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at State Street (Boston, MA) in Jan 2011

      Interview

I was first contacted by someone in HR. They had asked me to come in for an interview in a week or so they could set me up for two interviews (for two positions on the same day). So I went in for the AIS position and there were two rounds. I first talked briefly with a woman from HR. I was led into a conference room where I met with two professionals who would be my supervisors if offered the position. They had asked basic questions and then I had moved on to the next panel interview where two other younger professionals had basically talked to me about the same stuff and asked the same questions. My suggestions for this interview are two things. 1. Be a professional. Wear a blue suit, with red tie and look nice. 2. Be prepared and do your research on State Street. If you aren't knowledgeable then you will for sure ruin the interview. Also prepare for all sortts of interview questions. They basically read off a script some questions, so you never know what you're going to get Overall, great interview. I interviewed from 10-11 and I was offered the position by 4:30 pm same day.
