I applied through an employee referral. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Steak ‘n Shake (Mobile, AL) in May 2013
Interview
My friend told me that there was an opening at the restaurant and the managers wanted to hire me since I was there so often. I filled out an application and received a call a day or two afterward to set up an interview. I came in and sat at a table with one of the managers and he proceeded to ask me questions from his booklet as he took note of my responses. Afterwards the general manager came to the table and started conversation with me to see how my friend and I would work together. I received a call within the week telling me when orientation was.
