Got an interview request within 10 minutes of submitting my resume. Turned out the interviewer hadn't ready my resume prior to the interview. He asked me to make changes and send it back. Had an interview with him and his manager within 2 hours. In the second interview, I was told it was a contract position (not necessarily what I was looking for, but the pay was high enough that it worked for me). After the interview, I received a text from the second interviewer stating that they didn't want to pay me what was in the job post (170k-200k) and instead offered to submit me to the client at 120k. They gave no reasoning for it and it was honestly a bait and switch. When I told the interviewer my lowest was 160k (contract means I have to cover my own healthcare); I never heard from them again. Just very unprofessional and I feel bad for their clients.
