I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Stitch Fix (Sacramento, CA) in May 2017
Interview
Well once I finally got to the actual interview it was quite interesting. They have "stylists" doing the interviews. They don't take any notes during the whole thing and I'm not really sure if they have set questions they are supposed to ask you. An example of a question I was asked "How do you receive opportunity to improve at your job?" ummmm what? lol yea not quite sure how to answer that, also, so "I see you went to FIDM, tell me about that" ummm ok. I'm not really sure what their hiring criteria is, both "stylists" who interviewed me had no degrees relating to fashion, I went to FIDM and majored in merchandising marketing, which is basically learning how to buy for large groups of people AKA style. Anyways, I have a full time job, maybe that's why I didn't get it, this was just going to be for fun. I just found the whole interview to be very interesting. They also mentioned they have a very high turnover for stylists.
