Interview
The onsite interview was a tad odd, as 5 out of the 7 people I spoke too were on a group video chat while I sat in an interview room. It was a little hard to speak with 5 people simultaneously fielding questions via video conference. I think it would have been easier for all people involved to split that portion up.
After completing the whole interview process, I never heard back from the hiring manager and/or recruiter, even after reaching out to them. I do feel candidates that have gone through the entire process and dedicated time to the interview process, should at least hear back vs. being ghosted as a professional courtesy.

Interview
Typical interview process: Phone screen with recruiter, phone screen with hiring manager and then onsite interview.
The onsite interview was a tad odd. The first part was a panel setting (6 - 7 people) but every panel member joined via video chat and I sat in a room with a computer to speak with them. I don't mind a panel setting but the questions didn't flow well and there were awkward silence moments as they weren't sure who was going to ask the next question. The next portion was a 1:1 with the hiring manager that went well. The final portion was a 1:1 with the VP which went fine too.
After completing the interview, I never heard back from them. I reached out for an update but never heard a peep. I feel it should be a professional courtesy if you had a candidate go through the entire interview process to let them know if they passed, the position wasn't available anymore due to internal changes, etc. vs. being ghosted. I have been a hiring manager before and I wouldn't ghost someone when they have dedicated 5+ hours to the interview process - it's just not professional.
