I started with a call from HR which was good, I liked the recruiter a lot. They were super knowledgable and friendly. I was told the next round would be with the hiring manager and then a final round of panel interviews. I had the interview with the hiring manager which again went well. The panel interview with potential teammates was next and it was 4, 1 hour interviews. These interviews were a little weird, there didn't seem to be much of a reason for the questions they were asking. Most of the questions were extreme hypotheticals and did not follow with traditional PM interview questions. I did not care for the vast majority of the people I talked with and decided I may not take this position if I was offered it. Following this "final" panel I then got a followup from HR saying they wanted to add an additional 2 interviews. I thought this was very over the top seeing as though i'd already spent close to 6 hours interviewing. I took the interviews as I thought I would be offered the job as this was above and beyond what they told me. The very last interview was all about onboarding questions and what to expect. I wasn't sure if i would accept the offer but it felt good knowing I had basically gotten the job. BUT after a week of not hearing back I messaged HR. Still didn't hear back so I emailed again. Finally, 3+ weeks after I had the final interview where we discussed onboarding the HR recruiter said they decided to not go with me. I would highly recommend against interviewing with this company. There were several other red flags throughout the interview and they clearly do not respect the time of their applicants. I spent 8 hours interviewing and only after I followed up several times did I get a half baked response.
