I have had a handful of interviews recently and this was by far the least positive experience out of all of those. Going to an interview you expect to learn more about the job and more about the company. I spoke with the recruiter for about 2 minutes before they asked if I had any questions. Of course I had questions, but they were questions that would be relevant when I had more insight on the job. I went ahead and asked what questions I did have prepared and was then told "Ok great, I have what I need." I felt like it was some weird tactic to turn the tables and get me to perform as the interviewer. Candidates put time and effort into researching prior to an interview, and naturally there is some nervousness too. For me this felt very unprofessional to be put on the spot, and made to feel like I had to ask the right questions to decipher what I needed to know about the role. They then advised they would get back to me in 2 days. It's been a week and i've heard nothing. I would not proceed with this role if there was an offer as the interview alone gave me the ick.
