Storyblok Team Lead- BDR interview questions

Positives: - Some 2-3 days after application, I have received the invitation for a 1st interview - self-scheduling was given, which makes the process easy - during the interview, I was informed that in my case the process will be a bit longer, as they will be on their yearly onsite/ retreat for 1 week Neutral: - as the HR/ Recruitment is not based in the EMEA region, scheduling an interview can be quite cumbersome; if you are based in EMEA your scheduled interview will be quite late in the evening Negatives: After my interview (which was on a Wednesday), I was informed that I will get feedback latest the upcoming Monday. Unfortunately, this did not happen and I have sent a follow-up email on Tuesday asking for any feedback. An answer came in the same day, saying that the Hiring Manager apparently decided to make further steps with candidates after their retreat week. So I was asked for patience and that I will get an update during the week starting Sept. 16th. I have waited until 23rd of September and was forced again to follow-up with them, as as usual I did not receive anything. On the 23rd I have received again an answer with something absolutely different, which obviously uncovered their practices, saying that and I am quoting "...the team is currently in the final stages with some candidates that we started interviewing earlier...". I should give them time till the end of the week, so they can decide on the next steps. Again, I did not hear anything from them and I did not bother to follow-up any longer. On the 2nd of October I have received a denial, which was not a surprise at all. Final thoughts: This company does not know, when and how many candidates to interview. They are also not holding on promised follow-ups, which is a nuisance to candidates and lying about next steps with you (Hiring Manager wants to wait and suddenly they are in final interview steps with earlier candidates). Don't waste your time here as you will be ghosted, unless you are following-up with them and then nothing but lies will get back at you!
