Had the initial interview with the Director of Talent Acquisition. The meeting seemed to go as well as could be. I was told multiple times that my background was impressive and every other positive signal possible. It took an entire week to get a generic rejection email. Generally speaking, you have a good sense of when you'll move forward. The issue wasn't rejection following what you perceive as a positive interview. The issue was receiving a generic rejection email, one whole week after the interviewer gives off the most positive impression you'll ever come across. If you interview with this person, be a bit skeptical, as her impressions may be exaggerated.
Thank you for sharing your experience. I’m sorry the outcome and follow-up left you feeling disappointed — that’s never our intention.
We aim to create encouraging conversations and recognize each candidate’s strengths. However, a positive interview does not always mean we’re able to move forward, especially when considering multiple strong applicants.
We also understand that timing and generic communication can feel frustrating. We’re continuously working to improve clarity and the overall candidate experience. Thank you again for the feedback — it’s appreciated.
