It started with a recruiter reaching out to me on LinkedIn and doing an initial interview. The initial interview was pleasant and streamlined. I was then asked to apply for the position online. I did so and was booked for a second interview with the regional sales manager for my area. He was 10 minutes late to the interview despite being the first one for the day. The overall negative attitude coupled with the fact that he didn't even know that the recruiter reached out to me implies poor communication between members and sections in the company. He didn't answer any questions directly about the company about the process of pay/benefits. It seemed very much like talking to a politician, with no straight answers and lots of conjecture. I wouldn't recommend working for a company that doesn't communicate, doesn't value your time, and doesn't give you answers to simple questions. This may not represent Straumann as a whole, but it does for the region that I applied in.
