I thought they had a good vetting process. It included a take home exercise and group presentation, along with 1-1 interviews with each of the presentation attendees. Not surprisingly, fit and excitement about the product were important factors.

How would you think about price setting across different geographies?
I applied online. I interviewed at Strava (San Francisco, CA) in Aug 2015
Interview
This experience was quite disappointing.
I had a phone interview with a member of the team after applying online. After completing the phone interview, the person interviewing me never bothered to follow back up with me regarding Strava's interest level in the role. After e-mailing this person twice to ask for a status update, I never got a response back. I've heard of companies "going dark" on applicants if they're not interested, but I have no idea why this is logical or a good HR/Hiring practice. It made the company look 1) in disarray, 2) unprofessional, and 3) inconsiderate. It literally takes 20 seconds to say "Sorry, we're not interested" over e-mail, and then move on.
