The interviewer started off the bat by saying, "Let's try something different this time," always a bad sign – I don't want to be your test candidate for 'something different'.
He started by asking what questions I had upfront, without even property introducing himself or the role. I asked about the salary range & makeup of the product team, and after a quick overview I was asked to describe by product history – which I did, only to then be asked, "what questions do you have?" Umm, you started the session with that and added no additional context to the role or responsibilities, so why would I have additional questions?
I had to literally ask at the end what the pitch & goals for the role were, and got a basic & boring response. The recruiter was obviously out of it and/or had no intention on selling me on this position or the company.
