Heard back from the recruiter shortly after submitting my application. The interview went really well and I was told at the interview that I will be moving on to the next round (presentation/case study). Didn't hear anything. Followed up after a few days for an updated and got completely ghosted. I just don't think it's ok to ghost an applicant. It happens, you change your time, you talk to the hiring manager and they decide not to move forward, etc. I have been a hiring manager myself a number of times and know that this happens. What is not ok is to not take 30 seconds to respond to an email.
