5 rounds with screening, manager interview, written project, recruiter call for prep, then onsite back to back 3 interviews. On-site includes an imaginative scenario of how to discuss a company and what you would do, manager discussion about the written project and finally a panel with sales related questions as well as role play.

I got a call from the recruiter and right off the bat it was bad energy. She wasn’t rude or anything but there was this aroma of “I am better than you and Stripe is this prestigious company. She walked me through the role and asked me one question. It was mostly her talking about how great Stripe is and how hard it is to work at. After that I got set up with an AE that basically did the same thing. He asked a couple of questions and threw in a couple of big words that did not fit into his sentences and then actually hung up on me before we even exchanged a goodbye? I am not too sure how they are going to get actual sales people in there that can be personable and build relationships like normal humans. They seem like they care a lot about your competency which is GREAT. But, sometimes you have to understand that sales isn’t only about how much you know but how well you can converse and connect with humans, especially if the product is as technical as they say. Would not recommend.
