In my experience, written assignments are often given after an on-site interview. That said, I was very disappointed that 0 feedback was provided on the assignment I had submitted even after I requested if it could be provided. While I understand that my answers may not have been what Stripe was looking for from a candidate, my opinion of Stripe as a company was significantly diminished by the lack of feedback. - Next steps, would have been an on-site interview if I moved on in the process.
