Screen with Recruiter, HM Call, and panel.
Over the last few months I have interviewed with 5 reputable technology firms and am disappointed to say Stripe has been the biggest let down on candidate experience.
Naturally curious, after completing the final round interview I followed up with the Recruiter a few days later. To my shock, she didn't even respond and just forwarded the email straight to the Hiring Manager as not long after the Hiring Manager sent me a rejection email ..... a rejection email! After completing 5 hours of interviews in total, they did not have the decency to call with feedback. I’ve been in recruitment 5+ years and have never heard of a rejection email after a final interview. This portrays a sheer lack of professionalism and compassion in an employer, frankly very glad I dodged that bullet.

Interview
My experience was good! It included an initial recruiter screen, followed by interviews focused on sourcing strategy, stakeholder management, and Stripe’s values. Interviewers were well-prepared and asked insightful, scenario-based questions. Communication was clear throughout, and feedback was timely. Overall, a smooth and respectful experience that reflects Stripe’s high standards.
The interview process started with a phone screen, followed by a mock intake, culture interview, and ended with a department leader interview. Overall really friendly team and recruiter provided a lot of prep in advance. Hiring manager also took the time to understand my motivations and concerns throughout the process.
