Interview
About a month after submitting my online application, I received an email recommending me to do a take-home data test. I was notified that a virtual on-site interview will be there as a next step if I pass it, but haven't heard back anything yet.
The recruiter simply does not respond to any of my emails even for clarifying questions for the take-home test. It's a very disappointing and frustrating experience for an applicant, and I will never accept any take-home test for them again.

Question 1
For the take-home test, you will be required to do some generic data science works and make slides for presentation.
Got the standard HR screening and an interview with a hiring manager. Then was given a take home case assignment. They said it would take <8 hours; it ended up taking nearly double that. A lot of time was spent trying to open their data files (given in 1m+ row Excel files). You synthesize and write a proposal document to submit for review.
sql, take home test with coding, stats. mixture of different assessments all in one day.
task related to modelling of customer spend freqency/churn, was also asked about competencies, and ab testing.

I had a screening call with a senior, turned out he’s not the hiring manager. Then, I had a take home assignment. Then, they just told me that there’s no team that matches with me, and I just have to wait.
