I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Stripe
Interview
Screener interview with internal recruiter in Singapore. turned into a ghosting.
I booked a slot on their calendar for the screener, 5 days in advance. On the day, the recruiter e-mailed me saying it's actually a public holiday in Singapore, and suggested to reschedule. I sent my availability and then politely followed up once a week for 3 weeks, however received nothing back was ghosted (I did check my spam filter!)
So far, I had applied to Stripe a couple of times, been rejected, but I have not had any other company try to set up an interview and ghost me before it even happens, and of course this is unprofessional. I thought it would be an isolated case but after seeing other reviews it now makes sense.

Question 1
"Please let me know an alternative time we can chat either this week or next and I'll reschedule."
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Stripe (Dublin, Dublin) in Apr 2026
Interview
First applied online, contacting the recruiter as got rejected previously with no response, even though my CV matched a lot of what they were looking for.
Had a call with the recruiter and set up an interview for a few days later. Joined the call, and no one showed. Maybe it was a misunderstanding, as it was just after a public holiday, though I have contacted them already a few times to reschedule, and there has been no response.

Question 1
Salary expectations and just some relevant experience
1st round – HR screening:
The interviewer was excellent. She explained everything very clearly, managed the conversation well, and asked relevant questions.
2nd round – Pair programming:
You could use your own IDE. However, I have to say that the interviewer’s English was quite difficult to understand due to a very strong Indian accent. I struggled to understand around 50% of what he was saying.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Stripe in Aug 2025
Interview
Interview is split into two parts:
- One initial coding assessment
- Five Interviews which include technical and behavioural assessments
The code screening is not technically challenging, but time management is important. I got disqualified for running out of time even though I was very close to a working solution.
The recruiters are quite helpful, and do provide feedback even after rejection.
