Interview
Loooong and freakishly tedious process. Six weeks have passed since the day I have applied, and I’ve only just finished panel interviews. The process goes as follows, with multiple days wait in between the stages: recruiter interview, hiring manager interview, written assignment with five questions asking to detail certain aspects of an area of expertise, than four panel interviews 45 minutes each. I guess I’m nowwaiting for a "yay" or "nay" answer from the company. All in all, six weeks of nerve-wracking experience that just basically drags on and on. In other companies, by this time I would’ve already started. Stripe justifies this by saying that oh, we’re validating the culture fit, and need good talent. While that is valid, there’s certainly a faster way to find your stellar candidates.
