I applied in August 2025 and was contacted by their recruiter to set up a time for a screening call. Scheduled it and she blew me off. I followed up and she apologized and said she didn't put the call on her calendar. ??? Isn't that a primary function for a recruiter? Completely unprofessional. We rescheduled. She explained some of the problems in the Dept and asked how I would improve them. Then she asked about my salary. The base salary range they posted was $176-$264K. Based on my extensive experience I advised that my requirement was in the $225 range. She advised that my range was $160-190K. $160 isn't even in the range that they posted. This is a remote position with the same workload regardless of candidate location. I questioned her on the new range in comparison with what they posted and she said they consider the bonus and stock to be a part of the salary. These are not included in a "base salary" range. I asked for details regarding the stock. She was annoyed and answered vaguely. I asked another question about it and she snapped at me saying that this wasn't the conversation for that. Since she asked about my salary requirements then lowballed the range this WAS the conversation for that since we were screening my requirements to see if it made sense to move on. For a remote position there shouldn't be a $74K swing in base salary unless they are planning on also cutting the workload by 1/3. She said she was going to forward my resume to the hiring manager and would offer an update at the end of the week. On Friday she advised that they were not moving forward with me. My experience was a strong fit for the role and the position is still posted so I seriously doubt that she even forwarded my resume to the hiring manager. Don't waste your time.
