After submitting the formal online job application, I received an email at the end of week three. I was able to arrange a phone screen to take place two weeks later. Between the screeners booked calendar and the Thanksgiving holiday this length of wait time was required. After the basic screening, I had the opportunity to meet for a video call with the hiring manger. It was a very conversational discussion so I integrated STAR answers were able. Also, to secure the interview in general, I proactively shared my interest with a 2nd connection providing my cover letter and resume. I believe made a difference, getting into the top of the applicant pile.
