I applied through college or university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Stryker (East Lansing, MI) in Jan 2017
Interview
I went to a campus career fair and spoke to one of the recruiters who offered me an interview the next morning. The questions that they asked me at the career fair were somewhat difficult and they were a little more challenging at the actual interview.

Question 1
Why did you choose to go into the field you are in?
I received an invite for a phone screen, then a few days later received the thanks, but no thanks letter (seems a little backward to me) before I even had the screening. I emailed the recruiter because if they really didn't want to talk to me I didn't want to waste my time, and they canceled the phone screen, with no other communication.
Was submitted as an employee referral. Immediately I received an invite to talk to who I'm assuming was a recruiter. A few days later I received the thanks, but no thanks email. I emailed this person back and said should we still meet. She cancelled the meeting without a word. Not a great impression.
I applied online. I interviewed at Stryker in Oct 2022
Interview
This internship interview process was more on the extensive side. It included a 30 (lasted about 40) minutes phone screen, an hour-long Gallup phone assessment and a final hour-long interview with the team.
Multiple times I had to reach out myself to get any sort of update on the process. If I didn’t reach out, I’m sure I would’ve been “ghosted” by the recruiter.
The third time I reached out, I finally got an update that I had not been selected for the internship. I followed up to ask if I could get feedback and never received a response.
