      Field Sales Representative Interview

      Jun 8, 2020
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      Boise, ID
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Stryker (Boise, ID) in Feb 2020

      Interview

LONGGGGGGG. I get that they want to get the right person and I went through all the hoops, i bent over backwards to make some interviews back to back and the next day. No follow up which is outrageous for them to think they are above the candidate in letting them know future steps or if its a no go. Also Managers think they are hot shots for some reason and are demaning in the questions. I had to follow up multiple times for them to tell me they went with someone else... I got that answer 3 weeks after I did my 5th interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Stryker

      Interview

I applied through Glass door, got an email to schedule an initial phone screening about a week later. initial phone screening was with a recruiter who was very nice and asked me very little about my experience more about myself. after this brief maybe 30-minute phone screening I scheduled my Gallup interview. I didn’t know much about this type of interview, so I did some research on this and found out that you really can’t prepare and just be yourself. I went through the hour-long Gallup phone call and I can say the questions were different, but my only advice is just being yourself and don't try and be someone you’re not. after I made it past the Gallup I had a call with 3 different managers, all of them asked about my work experience and about myself mainly what motivated me and what type of worker I was. after this I did a ride along for the job and saw firsthand what is was like to do this role. after the ride along I had a face to face interview with a manager and we discussed everything about the position. after this I was invited to do the round robin interview at headquarters, this was the last of the interviews and I was asked again about myself and how I think I would fit in at Stryker. my advice is honestly be yourself!
