      Sales Representative Interview

      May 27, 2014
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      London, England
      No offer
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Stryker (London, England)

      Interview

I was asked to interview for an entry level position, all seemed very positive. This said, the process was slow and left a poor taste. It started with an employee recommending me to apply via the recruiter, following this I passed the phone interview and F2F with them. I was then put forward to 2 roles one I was not the right fit for the latter never happened. All said and done this is a great company, if I didn't know otherwise the recruitment process would have led me to think it was dysfunctional.

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Stryker

      Interview

Interviewed with the territory manager first, which I dont think is typical. The territory manager really tried to intimidate me by pushing how hard they need someone to work for this position, im in a medical sales role currently so it sounded condescending and made me not want to work for him. Questions he asked were average, nothing crazy.

Recruiter Screen - Recruiter was new but friendly. Stryker screens for hunter mentalities, speak to that and you will pass. Hiring Manager Virtual Call - Role specific questions, how you’ll build territory, sales success Gallup - 30 minute rapid fire interview. I don’t mind Gallup but believe it’s odd that they can’t provide feedback or clarification on questions they ask.
