I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Stryker in Jun 2011
Interview
You must take and "pass" the Gallup if you are to be hired by Stryker. This is a personality test of sorts and is a great tool that Stryker uses to help understand what kind of person you are outside of your face to face interviews. You will most likely be asked to present a real life sales scenario and be able to speak to the details of the job (even if you don't know). My advice is to talk to someone on the inside and ask for their help. If you don't know anyone you can find them on LinkedIn in your particular market. Stryker is a very professional company and I would dress for success at all times throughout the process. Type A personalities seem to do well but they want to know that you are able to handle a demanding business without a ton of guidance. After all, you will be asked to sell to doctors that haven't previously had a relationship with Stryker. If that sounds intimidating, this isn't the company for you. You WILL be asked to do that every week of your career. If you are still standing at the end of the interview process, don't be afraid to ask for the job. In doing so, have a strong reason why you are the perfect fit and show your desire to work for Stryker. Good luck!
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What is your biggest weakness? Have your own questions prepared as they will expect that from you even if they didn't mention it
I applied online. I interviewed at Stryker in May 2026
Interview
I had only one interview with HR. In the interview, they asked me about my strengths and weaknesses, why I wanted to work at this company, and why I left my previous jobs. Also they said that candidates who passed this interview would have three more interviews.

Interview
Recruiter Screen - Recruiter was new but friendly. Stryker screens for hunter mentalities, speak to that and you will pass.
Hiring Manager Virtual Call - Role specific questions, how you’ll build territory, sales success
Gallup - 30 minute rapid fire interview. I don’t mind Gallup but believe it’s odd that they can’t provide feedback or clarification on questions they ask.
Made it through two rounds of interviews with no concerns and had each party confident to move me along to the next step, but then was told they were pursuing other applicants.
