I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Subway (Holland, MI) in Feb 2017
Interview
The interview was early in the morning and very nice. It took around 20 minutes and I received a job offer on the spot, with some details about when orientation would be (typically the following work week) and when I would start once orientation was completed. The boss was very cheery and asked good questions and seemed to have a sense of humor and I really enjoyed the interview. I was asked when I prefer to work (morning, day, or night) so there is some room for scheduling preferences, since they recognize not everyone is a morning person when that means showing up at 6AM and some people are dozing off by closing at 10PM. Overall, the interview was very nice.
Easy process. Overall easy going job but low pay and can be busy at times. Created great friendships with the boss and a few co workers since most of the time there was only two people there
I interviewed at Subway (Barnsley, South West England, England)
Interview
I was sat down and asked questions about myself in a possible manner in the middle of the restaurant as people dined around me. I was then instructed to cut bread so they could see how well I could do.
Easy flow, face to face and they are quite patient with you. The manager are understanding if it's your first time and let you through the flow of the process
