I received a call from an employee asking me to come in later that day for an interview with the owner several days after I had filled out the application form and handed them a resume. The owner of the store seemed surprised and told me he was not expecting to be doing an interview today. I waited in a booth for a while until he came back out to the front of the store. He did not have my application form with him. We had a brief, friendly chat and he asked me about previous job experience. At the close of the interview he told me he would call me in a few days, and he just had to check to see how many of his college employees would be returning for the summer. It has been over two weeks and I have heard nothing back from him.
