I interviewed at Summit sometime in spring 2013. The application went really quickly - they called me the day after I applied online and then I flew out to DC for an interview the next week. The interview process was pretty standard - gave a presentation and met with several employees and the owners. I loved the culture and the overall vibe, but one of the owners was a bit antagonistic during our one-on-one meeting. For instance, he told me that I didn't seem like someone who would stay in DC and that he doubted I would actually be willing to move there, which is kind of insulting because I obviously applied for the job and also that's my call to make. They also sent me a schedule before the interview that had me presenting in the afternoon, but then when I showed up in the morning (a little late because I got confused by the metro), the whole staff was in the conference room waiting for me to present. Then they later told me that it made me look bad that I kept everyone waiting, even though they didn't tell me my presentation was first thing, and they also didn't build in any time for setup. Overall, I would say it was a good experience and I probably would have accepted a job had they offered one, but there were a couple of red flags.
