They just changed up their interview style so this was the first time they had done it this way. It was a group interview, about 40 people were there. It was a little hectic when you first get there, they were bringing people by group into a conference room and other people were filling out paperwork. Everyone was really nice right away though. Once everyone was seated in the conference room they hand out a brochure with pay scale and what your reserve schedule could look like. Then they show you a quick video introducing you to the company with some more info about the job. There was a lot of time for Q&A after the video. Then we did introductions. They introduce their panel of flight attendant recruiters and then everyone had to stand up one by one and introduce themselves and answers an ice breaker question. After that they make everyone mingle for like 10-15 minutes. It was kind of awkward. I think the recruiters were walking around and watching to see how you interact with each other. Then they broke us into groups of 6 and we did group activities while one recruiter watched to see how we worked together. It was pretty fun. The first one was we all had to talk with each other about how to answer situational questions and one person wrote it all down. The next activity was to figure out how to stack the beverage cart with random things in order of importance. Then it went to one-on-one interviews. All of this happened in the same room. So while you waited to be called you were sitting there chatting with your neighbors while people were interviewing in the back of the room. The first round of one-on-ones they asked questions about the group activity. Then you go back to sitting down and wait to be called for the second round of one-on-ones. This was with two different recruiters then the first time and they asked pretty easy questions relating to the job. After that you were able to leave and go tot he lobby wehre we had to wait in line again to meet with the in-flight supervisor. While we waited they pulled people in for fingerprints, they take your photo that will be used on your lanyard if you get the job and you fill out paperwork. The in-flight supervisor just asks "Why do you want to be a flight attendant?" and that was it. I received a CJO 2 weeks later by email. I really liked the company culture there. Everyone was super nice. It felt like a tight-knit family and not in a fake way like other airlines. They made the whole process very comfortable and fun. I would love to work there if it wasn't for their training. They don't provide accommodations during training and I'm not local to Minneapolis so I would have to pay for a hotel the entire time. They do offer $1000 once you're done with training which is helpful. Truly seems like a lovely company to work for. If I lived in Minneapolis I would take the offer in a heartbeat!
