Interview
I was walking around the mall with a stack of resumes right before the holiday season trying to find an employer looking for a part-time, seasonal position. The manager and the on-staff were very welcoming and super excited to meet me. I never had a formal interview, and I was offered a part-time position on the spot. I filled out an application immediately and the manager informed me that she would put in good word for me and that I would expect a call back from her in the following days to go over next steps.
I applied online. I interviewed at Sunglass Hut (Burbank, CA) in Jun 2026
Interview
The process was really smooth with the manager. They essential asked a couple things about myself and gave a run down about the company. They also let me know some things about themselves and about the team they have already.
Asked about experience, situational questions (was there ever a time where), if I'm interested in fashion, and register skills. Then the second in person part was role playing approaching a customer, giving advice, and testing a little knowledge about sunglasses like shapes and color theory.
