I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Supernova Technology (Chicago, IL) in Apr 2019
Interview
In my opinion, Supernova Lending in Chicago does not have their act together. They interview you and then follow up is sparse and is very impersonal. During the brief time I was there the office seemed odd and there was a rather unpleasant aroma of stale air within the office. Diversity seemed to be lacking and from my vantage point the company was hiring mainly Asian Americans who I am sure are very well qualified but may also be given preferential treatment during the hiring process. My expectations were high but the reality is that I would rank their interview process and execution as very poor! I've since secured employment elsewhere and was left unimpressed by their process.

Question 1
Experience with prior companie, what accomplishments, why supernova
I applied online. I interviewed at Supernova Technology
Interview
1. Phone Screen
2. Online assessment of 11 mc questions of various topics and 3 very easy programming questions (easy, leetcode easy)
3. Coding interview with SWE
4. Onsite interview (primarily behavioral with some technical questions)
Process was quick, transparent and straight forward in my opinion with exception to one interview - the interviewer didn't seem to "believe" me about past work experience and asked questions such as "do you know how to act in a professional setting?" and "how are you only skilled in such few coding languages if you studied computer science?"
Highly recommend interviewees asking about their overseas office, and what collaboration between engineers overseas and those in the US looks like.

Question 1
Talk about previous software projects, why did you decide on design?
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Supernova Technology
Interview
First a basic phone screen, then a technical interview, then a third on-site final round with 3 interviewers. The second round I was not informed would be a technical interview. One of my interviewers during the on-site interview was 25 minutes late. Poor communication throughout and the company seemed disorganized and unprepared.
