I was contacted by Samantha Balaton, through a referral made by a friend. There was an initial phone screen, followed by two in-person interviews, and finally a job shadow of a few of the recruiters. The interview process was not difficult, but it was very thorough. Swoon really takes their time to make sure the fit between the candidates and the existing team, is truly a match. The interview process was more conversation than a "grilling". At no point during the interview process did I feel as if the were trying to "trick me". Everyone I met with was friendly and extremely enthusiastic about their employment at Swoon. The recruiters I met with, Alex, Jim and Eric, the hiring manager, Lori, and the owner, Andy, were all on the same page with their genuine love for Swoon and their obvious tonnes of enthusiasm. Samantha Balaton is by far one of the best internal recruiters I have ever worked with. She was extremely honest with me during the entire process and went out of her way to keep the lines of communication open. Swoon is lucky to have her as one of their employees.
