Had a phone interview for a position in the Los Angeles area. I had submitted an application online. They sent an email asking me to call and give times I was available for a phone interview.

Would you be willing to work for $12.50 an hour, and keep 3 weekday afternoons and one weekend morning free (even if we have no students for you, you would have to keep it free)?

it was two virtual interviews about my background and how I would handle certain situations such as if a student struggles with reading how would you approach an assignment to make sure they are engaged with the question and also practices on their reading.
It was a virtual interview and I was given a Zoom link prior. The interview was professional and quick. The interview started immediately and lasted about 25 minutes. In addition, there was room for questions at the end.
It’s a list of questions that pertain to your educational experiences and professional experiences. It’s important to mention how you will ensure the kids are meeting their learning goals. It’s also good to think about how you will deal with time management, as kids learn at different paces and there are different needs.
