Interview
Applied online and received a request for a phone screening interview that would last about 20-30 minutes. The phone interview was cancelled 10 minutes before the scheduled time and was rescheduled a few hours later. The interview felt like the recruiter was reading a script and the whole phone call was completely unnatural. The whole process was dreadful and it felt like the recruiter was just forced to conduct my phone interview. 20 minutes felt like close to an hour. It felt like a complete waste of time and I asked myself twice if it was a good idea to work for this company.

Interview
I applied online, and they reached out to me a week later for a phone interview with the recruiter. She asked all the normal questions regarding my experience and "tell me about a time" Then I was offered an interview with the hiring manager. That interview was easier, trying to see if it would be a match on the team. A few questions regarding my work history and experience.
I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Symetra (Bellevue, WA) in Dec 2013
Interview
You will be initially interviewed by the managers then the VP of Sales if they think you're a candidate. They were nice and professional and didn't ask a lot of unusual questions. It is easier to get into this company through a temp agency. They like to see how well you work before they commit to placing you in a department with an opening. When you interview you will be competing against employees from other departments within the company.
