I applied in-person. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at T.K. Maxx (Derby, England) in Sep 2014
Interview
Group interview, where they had role play, team building activities and basic outline of the job.t There was about 15 people in the room, and they did the awkward 2 truths one lie to get everyone involved. After that they made us fill out a form with our availability and then carried on with the rest of the group interview.
Not too bad, they asked about precisely retail experience and different scenarios like a time I had to solve a team working problem. Had a piece of paper in front of them around 10-15 questions
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Describe a time you had to solve a difficult problem
Very straightforward and the interviewer was easy to speak to, he/she described the process well and kept my mind at ease. I enjoyed the process and have no complaints regarding the interview and interviewers
Had to go through several competency-based questions and scenario questions, e.g., what would you do in this scenario, etc. Questions were relatively straight-forward. There was then a paper 'exam' I had to fill out with similar questions, before being asked about my relevant experience and how much time I could commit.
