I applied in-person. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at T.K. Maxx (Glasgow, Scotland) in Apr 2014
Interview
I applied via CV, got an interview a couple of days later. The interview lasted about an hour as we got chatting. It became quite informal, however, still had to answer the questions formally. The interview was friendly, but assertive. I got offered the job via telephone a few days later.
Standard interview questions (past experience, what you're currently up to, availability) and a brief chat to get to know your character. Relaxed environment, one on one chat. They asked me questions based on my CV, e.g. what my previous roles were like and how I think it relates to TK Maxx.

Question 1
What prior experience have you had that makes you think you're a good fit for this role?
It was a group interview with fairly generic retail scenarios. It was straight forward and pretty relaxed, not intense at all. You can bounce off from other answers in the room!
Group interview then individual interview. It was easy. They asked questions and wrote it down on a white board. Individual interview was asked a tough situation ive been in and the solution.
