I submitted the application online (I had also handed in my resume to a campus recruiting coordinator during my college's internship fair). I was called a few weeks later to confirm my interest and availability. I was asked a few questions, was contacted again, and then received an email to schedule an hour-long phone interview (though it ended up being only half an hour) with a few members from the team. They were very pleasant to talk to, and I learned more about what the position would entail. About five weeks later, I received an email to schedule an in-person interview with two people from the department. They were very informative and professional. All of the interviews and scheduling were done through a campus recruiting coordinator.

There were 2 rounds of interviews. One phone call with recruiter and one phone call with hiring managers. Both were around 30 minutes long. Total time from application to decision was about 1 month.

Why are you interested in working in this department?
Nice interview, mostly behavioral questions that were pretty typical of the interview. The hiring manager was very interested in my experience and my work, which made the interview enjoyable. But overall questions were pretty straightforward, and using the star method was super helpful in answering questions.
