Applying here seems to be a hit or miss, and a lot of luck depending on what kind of event/interview process you get selected for (there seems to be a few different ones). The process ended up very different for a lot of my friends, some were offered a position even though he refused to attend the interview event. The Magenta Match event was very disorganized. Many Magenta Match events were hosted that I had no idea about until later. It seemed like there was quite a rush to find who you wanted to talk to, time would run out very quickly and you might not get to talk to everyone you wanted to. They mentioned that the managers were looking to hire the interns, I found that hard to believe they would recruit much since they would only had 15 minutes to talk to their potential future employees. My fear was that my graduation date would affect my chances of being offered a position. Turns out it did, I later was told that they said they don't extend offers that far out. However, I knew a girl who graduated at the same time but was offered a position for the summer. I knew a few who were offered a position after single phone interview. Whether you would be selected for a Magenta Match or a phone interview seems to depend on your previous experience. I've also heard many CS interns were offered differing pays from one another and sent to another campus. This was very inconsistent and depends highly on your resume quality alone and a bit luck.
