A recruiter will reach out to you about their interest. You'll have a brief conversation about the role and a brief Q&A. After the discussion, you'll be sent an assessment and then will have an interview set up with hiring manager the following week the interview will be a quick introduction, and then the manager will go through STAR questioning and ask you situational questions. After that you'll be in touch with the Regional Sales Manager and then back to the hiring manager(s) for a panel interview and short role play.
After the interview was done (much like the others who didn't receive an offer), I never heard from anyone since. Recruiter and hiring manager basically disappear and you're left wondering. If the shoe is on the other foot and I had a bunch of offers to choose from (including theirs), i'm sure they'd like the courtesy and sense of professionalism for me to give them a response. As an Enterprise Solution Provider, they're still leap years behind Verizon and AT&T. Good luck finding experienced and accomplished Enterprise level candidates to help close that gap. A follow up to a candidate is very simple. However the lack of follow through with myself and recent candidate reviews just shows how unprofessional they are and businesses should take note of it if T-Mobile tries to solicit into your business. These hiring managers who aren't responsive to candidates are the same ones who are calling to get your business. I've been through interviews with other companies where I didn't get the offer, however because they were able to offer feedback and be professional about it, I actually hold those companies in high regard, T-Mobile falls into the opposite. Maybe they're too busy with the alleged merger with Sprint (and their customers who are constantly jumping ship), but I don't even see what's so hard about hitting the "reply" button and taking 30 seconds to type a canned "we've decided to look at other candidates" message. Heck there's systems that do that for you! Anyway, after taking a deep breath, I still must say this experience was negative and I won't recommend T-Mobile to any friends or colleagues for an Enterprise Sales role, EVER!
