I was approached by a recruiter for a QA Manager position in Tokyo. The first call was casual and the interviewer suggested we move on to the consultant call. On that call they started talking about other positions and acted like the Management position didn't exist. When I pointed this out, they reassured me that there are multiple Management positions and that I need to take their QA acumen test. I took the test and got an 80 out of 100. I gave them references, etc. After all this, they suggested we had a 3rd call, with a different Consultant. On this call they started talking about Automation and acted like I applied for that job, even though we previously had 3 discussions about QA Management. I ended the call there and ask them to never contact me again. It's important to note that they've done the same thing to me in December, last year. They're not competent, not professional and I highly recommend that anyone who encounters this company run the other way. It's not worth your time, they will disappoint you and waste your time. They're also parasites. They don't offer a contract. What they do is, they take contracts from large companies, hire people and pay them whatever they deem appropriate, and they keep the rest. They're salaries are also ridiculously bellow the average market.
