I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at TELUS Digital (Toronto, ON) in Aug 2021
Interview
The interview started with a phone call with Hiring Manager , followed by HR reviewing salary and benefits. The following week was a panel interview with team manager. A few days later HR phone call to confirm employment and move on to back check. Back check took 3 weeks with no follow up. In the meantime I was scheduled another interview with a Director ( the email stated it was part of the hiring process) Meanwhile there were other candidates being reviewed without my knowledge as I was confirmed I got the position. I followed up with HR and was ghosted. Finally after 6 weeks I get an email saying it was a competitive pool and someone else got the position. A back check was done on me for nothing which means I inconvenienced 3 directors to fill out lengthy forms on me, plus I lost 2 other job opportunities since I thought I was hired at Telus. Very unprofessional for a company like this.
