TSYS|Total System Services Software Developer interview questions

I found Merchant Warehouse through a recruiter. I went in for an interview and was greeted by one of the employees. Initially, he was friendly and cordial. However, I noticed many red flags throughout the whole process, and his arrogant and condescending personality became evident. First, when describing the product, he referred to "chicks working the stands at a farmers' market" as consumers of their product. By "chicks," he meant women, which was very derogatory and misogynistic. I was very taken aback by this language. Then, during the interview, one of the questions involved designing a system. Instead of working with me, as most interviewers do, he was clearly working against me by bringing up very low-level and obscure technical design details, which seemed very picky in an interview setting and irrelevant to the high-level design. Another employee came in later to interview, and he was arrogant and condescending as well. I got quizzed on random, obscure facts that didn't seem to measure my qualifications for the job. Frankly, their attitudes were so poor that I could not possibly do well in the interview at all. At last, the first interviewer told me on the spot that I didn't get the job, and that he could get better people than me while paying them 15% less than my desired salary (which was not even on the high end for my experience level), clearly showing an utter lack of professionalism. He came up with a "suggestion" that I go into some "apprentice" program for several months with pay well below market rate, despite my qualifications. Needless to say, I ignored this so-called "suggestion" and was working at a different company, with far nicer people, in my desired salary range about a week after this interview. After having been through about a dozen interview processes with other companies, this was without a doubt the worst one I have experienced by a huge margin. Honestly, if they had offered me a job, just knowing the arrogant and condescending nature of people at the company would have driven me away from accepting their offer.
