Interview
Recruiting only weeds people out based on key words, not the full breath of experience. I had to beg to get an interview as my employment portfolio is a perfect match on what they want. According to them I applied for too many positions and basically saw this as confusion vs someone aggressively applying for like positions or skill sets.
Don’t ask questions about company ratings that is too negative like they have something to hide. Worst part was offer was coming but zero response for a week until I asked twice. Then the dear John letter came back. Ghosting is unprofessional period.

Interview
Had a first screen interview with recruiter, the recruiter was great to talk to, and overall was a really great experience.
Then we schedule a call with the manager, and it was also a good conversation, but consist of very tough questions to answer. even though the role description didn’t have any sort of specification about the kind of experience they were requesting, as I was from a competitor, the manager kept asking whether I would agree to reach out to my former companies’ customers. he seemed more interested in my contacts rather than my experience or skills.
He mentioned he liked my profile and wanted to schedule a second conversation, but I never heard back nor got any feedback.
