I should have suspected that all the talk about “transparency” was disingenuous. But I thought a recruiting company might do a slightly better job at recruiting than others. After the initial interview, and debriefing (which was very weird), it was impossible to get in touch with the interviewer or recruiter. I first heard that I would hear back early the next week. Then it became the week after than. Then almost a whole month went by. Surprise, surprise, they “went in a different direction”. I had the thought of asking them to help with my job search if they didn’t hire me, because supposedly that’s what they do, but I wouldn’t trust this company with that after my experience.
